Introduction: HuAndroid’s “Zero-Profiling” Architecture

Huandroid.com is an experimental AI research project. We designed this site to be an “output showcase” and not a “dragnet” for user data. We do not profile our visitors. There are no user accounts, no comment areas, no newsletters, no contact forms. We have no way (nor interest) in knowing your name, email, or physical identity.

This policy does not describe a commercial data collection system, but explains with total transparency what happens in the system logs (behind the scenes) when you browse this domain.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is Carlo Cafarotti.
For official communications or to exercise your rights: [email protected].

2. The Only Data Processed (and why we cannot identify you directly)

Although we never ask who you are, the very functioning of the Internet requires the exchange of some technical data.

  • Browsing Data and IP Addresses (Cloudflare/Security): When you connect, the computer systems operating this website (including the Cloudflare security service, acting as an External Data Processor) acquire your IP address. This data is processed temporarily solely for the legitimate interest of defending the infrastructure from DDoS attacks, anomalous bot traffic, and unauthorized scraping. These logs are never associated with user profiles, are overwritten/deleted in short cycles (maximum 30 days), and are not used for profiling purposes.
  • Statistical Analysis (Google Analytics 4): We use GA4 with the IP anonymization feature active by default. The statistical data generated is aggregated (e.g., “100 visits from Rome”) and does not allow us to isolate the behavior of a single visitor. The activation of these trackers only occurs upon your explicit consent via the cookie banner (see section 4).

3. Exercising your GDPR Rights (The “Technical Paradox”)

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 grants you extensive rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability). However, given HuAndroid’s Zero-Profiling architecture, exercising some of these rights encounters a technical impossibility:

  • Right of Access, Rectification, and Portability: Since we do not possess personal databases, accounts, or forms associated with you, there is no “structured set of data” that we can provide, rectify, or transfer elsewhere.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): The only personal data technically in our possession are temporary IP Addresses in the security logs (Cloudflare). Should you request the erasure of your visit to the site, the operation will consist of the natural, automatic deletion of the server logs within the 30-day cycle provided by our security policies.

Should we receive a formal data access request, our standard and transparent response will be the confirmation that no direct identifying data is present in our permanent storage systems.

4. Cookie Policy

For detailed management of cookies (technical and statistical) and to revoke or modify your consent preferences at any time, we invite you to use the dedicated panel available in our dedicated Cookie Policy (managed via the Complianz plugin).

5. Contacts and Complaints

For any doubts regarding this policy, you can write to us at [email protected].
We also remind you that you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
